We noticed part of the roof needed fixing when filming using a drone and we found out the school needed help.
We completely refurbished the school and built a new hall.
Minor works were done first followed by the large refurbishment project.
The wall was painted with St Paul's school motto (Gibraltar) "Alone we are smart, together we are brilliant".
The damaged hall roof was removed and a new one provided and a higher wall was built to increase the height of the hall.

October 2020 - The St Charles Compound include a nursery, REC primary, Junior Secondary School and Senior Secondary School (built by Action4schools during 2021). The football and sports playing field project would change so many lives !
October 2020 - The football and sports play field will bring life to the community and much needed space for exercise for the many children that attend schools in Regent
Team visit during May 2012 - we took football kits from Gibraltar teams and played a friendly match
It is shame but there are no sports classes due to lack of a sport ground and resources.
A football pitch and sports ground would transform Regent village and the children would benefit so much from this project.
Children deserve better, they deserve to play and enjoy themselves.

October 2019 - Meetings were held between the Regent Village representatives to discuss the way forward

October 2019 - Extension building built by action4schools in 2017 for around 150 pupils at the Junior Secondary School which is too small to accomodate the number of pupils enrolled, they need a new extension and a new Senior Secondary School to prevent children dropping out of education

A huge landslide of mud and rocks crashed through the village of Regent in the outskirts of Freetown in the early hours of Monday 14th August killing hundreds whilst they slept.
